Flowers are for Dessert

"I received a request to curate an art exhibition themed 'Rabbit Hole.' I was also participating in the exhibition and started to wonder what a rabbit's own burrow might look like. Rabbits seem very joyful and adorable with their fantastic hops and long ears.

A positive attitude takes you far, and the rabbit in the painting has done well in life. He loves colors and dresses flamboyantly. His burrow is decorated in a ‘more is more’ style and is filled with gold and glitter.

The secret to the rabbit’s success lies in his personality. As an extroverted bundle of joy, he enjoys the company of others and has a large circle of friends.

For the feast, he has invited the somewhat introverted Mr. Koni. Together, they enjoy good conversation and the delights of the banquet table. Mr. Koni seems to be a teetotaler, while Mr. Rabbit’s cocktail glass appears to contain fermented carrot juice.

Despite their differences, these friends share a strong connection. Mr. Rabbit’s chattiness brings out liveliness in his friend, while Mr. Koni’s presence calms the rabbit.

As is typical of a rabbit’s burrow, not everything is as it seems—the decorative centerpiece of the feast is a spectacularly presented dessert."
